Potty training puppies is an important topic for new puppy owners but I don’t think one could write an entire book on that subject alone.  However, it would be necessary to have a chapter devoted to this most basic of needs.

The are two common methods of potty training a puppy that would need to be covered…  crate-training and paper training.  Although these are very different techniques, they both require three things… patience, persistence and consistency.  While neither method is difficult, a step-by-step process with these three pillars will result in success.

There are a number of good books available for training puppies as well as web sites on the internet.  Have a look and pick the method that’s best for you and your new best friend.  It doesn’t matter which method you chose as long as you don’t forget the common elements of patience, persistence and consistency.
